Set during the Gulf’s World War II era, the show dives deep into the emotional and historical struggles of the region, blending rich heritage with powerful human stories. The series aired during Ramadan 2022 and became one of the season’s most talked-about dramas.
Project Description
For this project, I was brought on as a creative writer to craft the storytelling for the show’s nostalgic flashback scenes. My role focused on writing emotional narratives that reflect the memories of the characters, which were then transformed into hand-drawn illustrations that gradually came to life on screen — blending history, nostalgia, and art in one seamless experience.
